Keds teamed up with singer Taylor Swift for a colorful spring footwear collection inspired by her personal style.

The line includes playful prints like polka dots, stripes and bows as well as bright colors, including yellow, indigo, aqua and sky blue.

"I think it's fun to experiment with your style," Swift said. "Shoes are an opportunity to add a pop of color or something unexpected."

The 24-year-old, who will embark on the Asian leg of her Red tour in June, often sports the shoes on stage and with her everyday ensemble. 

"I've been a fan of Keds for years, because they have two of my favorite elements of great style - they're classic and effortless. I remember wearing Keds as a little kid, while riding my bike around the farm. When I got older, I started wearing them again. There's something cool about shoes that you can grow up with," Swift told WWD in 2012.

The footwear company's president explained how the seven-time Grammy winner influenced the new collection and helped add some new flair to the brand.

"Taylor has such a unique fashion point of view that's rooted in timeless silhouettes, but her take is always very modern," said Rick Blackshaw.

"Sometimes a subtle tweak can make all the difference, and this idea inspired us to reimagine familiar prints in fresh ways. The spring collection is the perfect way for Keds girls to welcome the warmer months, and add some endless style opportunities to their wardrobe."

The shoes hit stores in March and retail for $55. They can be purchased worldwide at Keds.com, Journeys.com, TaylorSwift.com and Nordstrom department stores.
