Yvonne De Carlo's Lily Monster Remembered as Portia de Rossi Lands Role

Portia de Rossi will play Lily Monster in NBC's "Mockingbird Lane," a role that was originally played by Canadian actress Yvonne De Carlo.

De Rossi was cast for the role in the reboot of the popular sitcom "Munsters," TV Guide reports.

Lily is Herman Munster's vampire wife. Herman will be portrayed by Jerry O'Connell ("Sliders," "The Defenders.")

Eddie Izzard will star as Lily's father Grandpa Munster and Charity Wakefield as cousin Marilyn Munster.

Mason Cook will star as Eddie Munster, Herman and Lily's warewolf son.
