As Discovery's Amish Mafia continues with its third season, new claims have surfaced which may prove the show is entirely fictional.

Merlin Introduces Ruck Davey In Season 3?

In a new report, Lancaster Online claims that they researched every claim the show has made that allows for the characters on it to act the way they do on the program, as well as in real life, and have found all of the reasons to be false.

The show has long claimed that their cast, including Lebanon Levi, Esther and John Schmucker, Merlin Miller and Alan Beiler were all raised in Amish and Mennonite communities, but weren't baptized and never actually joined the Amish Church, and as such can drive cars, drink, and commit acts similar to the ones they do on the show.

Amish Mafia Ending After Season 3?

However, the report states that lead researchers of the Amish faith have found that the claims are untrue, and that those who are not active members of the church cannot legally identify themselves as Amish men and women. The cast members are also reportedly paid per-episode salaries, which also goes against Amish faith.

The publication also used social media as a means of pointing out other fake elements of the series.

The show has long referenced a Lancaster County Police Department, yet no such police department appears to exist. The Lancaster City Police Department even posted a message on their Facebook page last year, calling out the fictitious police department the show references and acknowledging that they are indeed the real one.

Members of the show's cast also have their own social media accounts, complete with photos depicting their non-Amish lifestyles. Alan Beiler's account has numerous photos of himself wearing English clothing and posing for photos with his girlfriend, Ashley Rae, who is expecting the couple's first child together later this year. Esther Schmucker's account also features photos of her in non-Amish clothing.

Schmucker also made headlines late last year when reports surfaced that her boyfriend, aspiring rapper Imir R. Williams, had assaulted her.

For her credit, Schmucker appears to be trying to prove the claims Discovery has made about the show by addressing her "double life" in the current season.

Amish Mafia airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Discovery.
