Following their heart-breaking elimination on Sunday's episode of The Amazing Race All-Stars, "Team Kentucky's" Mallory Ervin and Mark Jackson are now saying that they likely wouldn't the run the race with one another again if the opportunity to do so presented itself.

Mark and Mallory's China Elimination

In a post-elimination interview with TV Guide, both Jackson and Ervin lamented the fact that they had very little time to get to know one another before the race, which hurt their ability to effectively communicate, and contributed highly to their elimination.

"I think we were at a disadvantage from the beginning with communication," Ervin said. "We didn't know each other well and we didn't talk about anything about the Race since I came in so late. My dad and I would know what to do in that situation had that happened, whoever did it, but Mark and I didn't have any time before to plan. We hadn't discussed anything."

"That's why I think it blew up so badly. There was so much going on," she continued. ""I was getting the taxi and Mark was putting the toy car in the back. He thought the bag was there. I'll take the blame for it."

Though Jackson later said Ervin shouldn't take the blame, he too added that it was hard racing with someone he barely knew.

"I felt like I had a lot of pressure. I had more to prove this time because I was going to let my county down and my best friend down if I didn't do good," he said. "She didn't know me and I didn't know her...It's hard to run the Race with someone you don't know the ins and outs about."

Both then admitted that if they ever had to do the race again, neither one would choose to race with the other.

"I don't think I would ever run the race again without Bopper," Jackson said. "No offense, Mallory! There's no way I would do I again without him. Mallory's a great person, but I would never do it again without Bopper. I would love to run it with Mallory and her dad on the same season."

"That would be fun. As long as we've got our partners!" Ervin added.

The Amazing Race airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
