Aerosmith's 2012 "Global Warming" tour will be kicking off Saturday at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

The band is promoting their 15th album "Music From Another Dimension!" set for release in August 28.

"I cannot wait....Tonight is going to rock!!!!!" one Aerosmith fan commented on Facebook Saturday afternoon.

"So excited for tonight! Got the tickets for my birthday :) it's gonna be a great night!!" another wrote.

Aerosmith's next gig is scheduled for Tuesday at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.

The 17-city tour includes stops in Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Denver and Los Angeles.

The dates include one performance in Toronto, Canada.

"Music From Another Dimension" is Aerosmith's first album since 2002 (consisting of all new material). The record is a follow-up to the band's "Honkin' on Bobo," from 2004.

Front man Steven Tyler has dedicated plenty of his time to judging American Idol, which has caused tension in the band, according to reports.

"We've already gone through all our problems…. Joe and I were fighting for a while, that's no secret… But whatever demons or realities were going on in the band, it happens with bands that stay together for 40 years and have the success that we have," Tayler said.
