While at first Scarlett Johansson appeared to be glowing at a March 14 red carpet appearance, a new interview with The Guardian has surfaced which could potentially destroy the actress' reputation with fans.

After making her first baby-bump red carpet appearance at the Captain America: The Winter Soldier premiere in Hollywood, the mother-to-be appeared to be at the top of her game by choosing a fantastic fashion ensemble in a curve hugging, black and white Giorgio Armani skirt and top which put focus on her cleavage and her bump. However, her recent comments on international affairs in the March 15 issue of The Guardian have appeared to hurt her reputation.

In the interview, the 29-year-old star revealed that doesn't regret her decision to step down from her position as an OxFam ambassador to become the face of Israel's SodaStream campaign.

"I stand behind that decision. I was aware of that particular factory before I signed [on]...It still doesn't seem like a problem," she said about the controversy surrounding the company's manufacturing settlements on the West Bank. "Until someone has a solution to the closing of that factory to leaving all those people destitute, that doesn't seem like the solution to the problem."

Despite being told that the settlements were illegal, the actress still stood firm with her statements, saying "I think that's something that's very easily debatable. In that case, I was literally plunged into a conversation that's way grander and larger than this one particular issue. And there's no right or wrong side leaning on this issue."
