The late designer, who was found dead in her Manhattan apartment Monday, was known for her designs, which helped women flaunt their curves and feel sexy while doing it, making her a favorite among many celebrities.

Nicole Kidman, who was a close friend of Scott's, often chose the designer's gowns for red carpet appearances, as did Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker. Others stars, including Jennifer Lawrence, Christina Hendricks and Shailene Woodley, have also opted for her sexy, body-hugging designs, and managed to pull off some of their best looks as a result.

Scott was found dead hanging from a scarf attached to a door knob in an apparent suicide attempt. Though she left no note, it has been reported that she may have committed suicide due to her company being in excessive debt of around $6 million.

Her longtime boyfriend, Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, cancelled his tour shows in Australia and New Zealand and flew back to the U.S.

He posted a touching tribute to his late girlfriend on his official Facebook page Tuesday, writing "I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way. We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves. She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me."

"I have been touched by the tributes that people have paid to her, and also the personal messages of support that I have received," he continued. "I will never forget her."
