Naomi Campbell appears on the cover of Shape magazine for the first time in her career and looks better than ever.

The 43-year-old supermodel sported a sexy black Moschino one-piece swimsuit for the April issue and spilled a few of her diet secrets.

"I try to eat natural sugar, from food like dates, which goes into my system slowly," she told the magazine. "Quick-burning sugar just lifts me up and then sends me right down, crashing. It took me a while to figure this out, but better late than never!"

Yet, the British model admitted that she sometimes indulges in some dessert.

"I know sugar is not good for me," she said, "but there's a delicious chocolate bar in England called Galaxy that I cannot give up!"

Campbell, who rose to fame in her teens and became a member of "The Big 5" alongside fellow supermodels Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington, also opened up about challenges she's faced during her lengthy career. The star dealt with discrimination in the industry because of her skin color.

"It's been a challenge my whole career," she said. "But I learned if you don't accept no for an answer, you often get a yes."

Now, Campbell is the executive producer and co-star of Oxygen's modeling-themed reality show The Face. Season 2 premiered on March 5 and featured two new mentors - Lydia Hearst and Anne Vyalitsyna - along with returning host Nigel Barker.

Although Campbell's been rumored to be a difficult woman to work with, Hearst slammed those accusations when she told EnStars that being on set with the supermodel was one of her favorite parts of the show.

"I love her," Hearst also told EnStars after the cast rang Nasdaq's closing bell in New York's Time Square the day of the premiere.
