It looks like Kristen Stewart's rumored plan to win back ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson by playing hard to get may have worked in the actress's favor.

Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson Connect Through Fragrances?

On Wednesday, Hollywood Life reported that the former Twilight couple still keep in touch through text and such, but apparently Stewart wants to reunite with Pattinson for her birthday on April 9.

"Kristen wants to celebrate her upcoming birthday with her close friends in LA, and she wants Rob to join them," a source reportedly told the site. "Even though she hasn't seen Rob in the longest time, they still talk all the time. They text, Skype. They are both pretty much in the same place right now, just focusing on work and staying focused."

If the two do reunite for her birthday, it could prove that her plan to get him back by ignoring him for a while has worked.

"Kristen has been telling all of their mutual friends that she's over Rob and ready to move on, but it's not true," a source said in a February Hollywood Life story. "She knows it will get back to Rob, and it's all part of her plan to get him back."

"She's decided that she needs to start playing hard to get," the source continued. "She's hoping that when Rob finds out she's talking about moving on that he'll step up to the plate."
