It looks like Star Wars: Episode VII will have some more enticing qualities as the popular movie will reportedly be in IMAX.

Zac Efron To Play A Part In Episode VII?

On Thursday, it was announced on IMAX that IMAX and Disney have extended their contract. 

"For the last several years, Disney and IMAX have worked together to deliver extraordinary cinematic experiences to audiences around the world," IMAX CEO Richard L. Gelfond said. "The combination of the great product being created by Disney and the overwhelming enthusiasm of moviegoers to see films in IMAX theaters makes this agreement really exciting."

Female Leading Role Already Cast?

It appears that Star Wars: Epiosde VII along with several other blockbuster films are looking to create an even larger impact on audiences, which is something that Senior Executive Vice President of Imax Corp. and CEO of IMAX Entertainment Greg Foster are looking forward to.

"Disney's and Marvel's larger-than-life characters and dynamic universes clearly resonate with our core audiences," Fister said. "We are delighted to build upon this longtime association and continue to collaborate to bring many of the most iconic and cutting-edge properties in the world to life in the most immersive way possible."

As for how the rest of Episode VII is going to go? The only character who is fully set to make an appearance is R2D2, according to Variety.

"Rumor has it that almost every actor in the world has been cast in this movie, but so far, the official cast member that we've confirmed, the only one, is R2D2," Disney chief Bob Iger recently stated.

Star Wars: Episode VII is set to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
