Cameron Diaz, Nicki Minaj and Kate Upton star in a new movie called The Other Woman, coming to theaters April 24.
The Other Woman is 20th Century Fox's highly anticipated spring premiere, which tells the story of a woman who falls in love with a married man, only to find out that she was not his only mistress.
In time, the scorned woman (played by Cameron Diaz) befriends his wife, as well as the other mistresses, leading them to devise the perfect plan to take the cheating husband down. Cameron Diaz, Kate Upton, and Nicki Minaj star in the movie, alongside Leslie Mann.
Nicki Minaj, who makes her on-screen debut in this film, plays Cameron Diaz's assistant Lydia. Though the character does not seem too far out of reach for the already animated rapper, the 31-year-old puts her La Guardia Arts High School education to use.
On screen, she comes off as funny, confident and not intimidated in scenes with acting veteran Cameron Diaz. Watch the newest clip from the film to see for yourself!
Since a 2011 VMA interview with Entertainment Weekly, Minaj has had her eyes set on being in front of the camera.
"I went to school to be an actress. I never expected to be a rapper. It just fell in my lap," she said at the time.
"So I would like to get an acting gig...That is my long-term goal," she added.
Now, the rumored fiancée of Safaree Samuels will see her longtime goal come to head as the movie hits theaters next month. Watch the full trailer below.
