A Hobbit-themed Lego set will come free of charge with the blu-ray of The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug.

The Lego set will be launched with this promotional package, which will be available at over 600 Sainsbury's locations starting April 7. It will be also be available for purchase online via the Sainsbury website. The package would cost £12.99 in total.

Recently it was also announced that the Lego game based on the trilogy would be released on April 11.

Rift to Open Up Between the Dwarves As Thorin Desends into Madness in The Hobbit: There and Back Again? 

Every dwarf is a character in the game and can be chosen. The preview of the game features Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf, and the monsters and fiends that the dwarves encounter. The combat and plot mimics that of the films.

The game will launch for 3DS, Mac, PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PS Vita, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

A special collector's edition of the DVD and Blu-ray for The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug is also scheduled to release on Apr. 8.

The film will be available in a variety of packages which will also feature a limited collector's edition set for $105.43, a Blu-ray 3-D combo pack for $44.95, a Blu-ray combo pack for $35.99 and a 2-disc DVD special edition for $28.98. 

Only 25,000 pieces of the collector's edition will be available in the U.S. and will include two Gates of Erebor replica bookends and a theatrical version of the film in 3-D high-definition, high-definition and standard definition.
