The group stages of Euro 2012 concludes Tuesday with Group D matches, and England vs. Ukraine kicking off at 2.45 p.m. EST. Ukraine go into the game knowing only a win will do, and England knowing either a win or draw would see them progress to the quarter finals. The game will be shown live in ESPN or online through live streaming on ESPN 3 (details below).

The England squad will be vibrant with a bit more self-confidence having come through a stern test of their character against Sweden. England had dominated the first half and looked untroubled, leading 1-0 at the break. However, a disastrous start to the first half saw them behind 1-2 and looking like strong contenders for elimination. But an inspired move by new manager Roy Hodgson saw Theo Walcott brought on mid-way through the first half, and that changed the game.

Walcott scored a screamer to equalize before setting up Danny Welbeck for a spectacular winner with just over 10 minutes to go.

The character presented in that game to come back in such a fashion should not give this England side more confidence to get the job done today against co-hosts Ukraine.

However, Ukraine will be no pushovers, and will present a dangerous prospect. Put simply, they have nothing to lose in today's game, and that type of opposition can sometimes be the most dangerous. Ukraine are the underdogs going into the tie, and know only a win will see them qualify for the knock out stages, so we can expect some fireworks from them and an exciting game is in prospect.
