Shakira Pregnant with Gerard Piqué's Baby: report [PHOTO]

Shakira is pregnant, according to a Colombian magazine.

The sexy Colombian singer, 35, was featured on the cover of Gente magazine's June issue, entitled "Shakira Pregnant."

According to the report Shakira is six weeks into her pregnancy and is waiting for the right moment to make the news public. Her boyfriend, Spanish soccer star Gerard Piqué, is the father.

"The baby is due in early 2013. The couple found out the news while they were in Ibiza. So far there are no plans for a wedding," the magazine claims.

"Everything was planned. The baby will be born at the beginning of next year. This would be the first priority for the singer. At 35 years old, she thought she was missing the time to become a mom," the magazine says.

Mexican tabloids have also reported that Shakira is pregnant but that she is keeping the news to herself because she is suffering from a rare illness that increases the risk of miscarriage.

The celebrity site TV Notas reports that Shakira has Toxoplasmosis, an infection caused by eating raw or undercooked meat or carelessly handling the litter of contaminated cats.

Shakira and Pique went public with their relationship in March 2011.

Three of Shakira's videos "Rabiosa," "Loca" and "Waka Waka" have been given VEVO Certified status, for reaching 100 million views.
