Gibbs reunited with his former colleague, Special Agent Dwayne Cassius Pride (Scott Bakula), after a body washed ashore in the Louisiana city. The corpse was identified as former NCIS agent and Congressman Dan McLane.

NCIS Coming Back For Season 12

The second and last episode of the NCIS: New Orleans pilot will premiere next week and it will likely bring a conclusion to the case.

Other actors on the show include Paige Turco as Pride's estranged wife, Lucas Black as Agent LaSalle, Zoe McLellan as Special Agent Brody and C.C.H. Pounder as Dr. Wade.

But, were viewers intrigued by the first episode, which premiered on Tuesday and brought in around 17 million? Many took to Twitter to praise "Crescent City Part 1."

Others, however, pointed out what they considered a major flaw - an unauthentic New Orleans accent.
