A new girl will be gracing the halls of Palos Hills high when Awkward returns for its fourth season, and it won't be long before she's pulled in for an encounter with the school's somewhat inappropriate guidance counselor.

Jenna Lonely During Senior Year?

In a post on MTV's Remote Control blog, titled "Palos Hills High School Cliff's Notes for 'Awkward' New Girl Eva," a cringe-worthy session with guidance counselor Val is hinted at, as well as tips for who is dating and/or hooking up with whom at the high school.

The post hilariously points out to Eva that Jenna Hamilton had definitely gone a bit too far with trying to reinvent herself in junior year, which has left her single, on probation with her friends, and in need of some heavy duty damage control as she enters senior year.

Ming No Longer a Palos Hills Student?

The post also points out that while Kenna's former boyfriend Matty is venturing into a friends-with-benefits territory with her this season, but hints that doing so could be risky for the newly-single heartthrob.

Lastly, the post hints that Eva could be hauled in for a session with Val in the same way every other Palos Hills senior has been at some point. If the trailer for season 4 is any indication, she could be brought in after she and Jenna potentially begin to fight over Matty.

When Eva is introduced in the trailer, she starts off by attracting both Jake and Matty, who introduce themselves to her at a party, followed by another scene which shows Matty lifting her up to hang a banner in the hallways of the school. Jenna's jealousy may potentially flare up, resulting in a physical altercation between her and Eva, where she punches Eva in the face and Eva responds by kicking her in the side.

Additionally, the character is being introduced on the show in order to start trouble and cause drama for the girls of Palos Hills.

"We always liked the idea of having s--t stirrers in the mix, so we brought in a new romantic interest for Matty, a girl named Eva [played by Elizabeth Whitson], who is a much more sophisticated version of a high school girl than Palos Hills has ever seen," new show runner Chris Alberghini said in a March 10 Buzzfeed interview. "She's had lots and lots of experiences; she's sort of like a blonde Angelina Jolie and everyone is awed by her at first."

Awkward season 4 premieres Tuesday, April 15 at 10 p.m. on MTV.
