Hip-hop, rock, and techno unite at Lollapalooza's 10-year anniversary as Eminem, Outkast, Kings of Leon and Skrillex are set to headline this summer.

The event, set for August 1-3 in Chicago's Grant Park, will feature more than 100 other acts. Some of these include Lorde, Arctic Monkeys, Calvin Harris, Foster the People, the Avett Brothers, Childish Gambino, Nas, Young The Giant, Iggy Azalea and Phantogram.

"Every year you're shooting to have just an incredible bill that people will look at and say, 'I'm there,'" founder Perry Farrell said in an interview with The Associated Press. "The music is going to entertain them and do wonders for their heart and so is the city."

Farrell also praised Eminem, who previously played at Lollapalooza in 2011.

"He's on top of his game and he's doing a great show," Farrell said. "His live show is incorporating really well-made video and guest appearances."

Eminem also expressed his excitement for the upcoming concert via social media tweeting, "Excited to be coming back to @lollapalooza this August!"

Three-day passes for the concert series went on sale on Monday and sold out within an hour. The one-day passes sold out shortly after that.
