Kardashian sisters Kourtney and Khloe are taking on yet another city in a new Keeping Up With the Kardashians spinoff, but several residents aren't happy about it.

E! announced its new series Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons on Wednesday. The show is slated to follow the lives of the duo as they set up shop for a New York Dash store. Kourtney's longtime boyfriend, Scott Disick, and their two children, Penelope and Mason, will also be featured in the new series.

A synopsis for the show reads, "The girls have their work cut out for them as they set out to relocate the Dash New York store to a hot new property while managing the initial struggles of opening their first pop-up store in the Hamptons."

Deputy Editor Nicole Barlyski and Executive Editor & Publisher Nicole B. Brewer of hamptons.com, the area's local site, released a joint statement explaining that having the sisters land on their town might not be the most exciting news, but will also impact existing businesses.

"Having the Kardashian family spotted out and about in the Hamptons is not news. They also aren't the first reality stars to film out there. We've had the Real Housewives franchise film out here for years.

The fact that they're going to put down roots out here is a big deal because it's going to impact the economy somehow. People will either decide to avoid the Kardashian store completely, which could affect the surrounding stores or on the flip side you could have the place so completely and utterly mobbed that hopefully the businesses around it will benefit from the overflow."

Many Hampton locals also sounded off on Twitter and made it clear they don't want the famous sisters setting up shop in their town, let alone taping a reality series to do it.

One user wrote, "Please stay away from the Hamptons. Do we really need to see more of this nonsense?"

Another added, "I will not let these Kardashians invade my kingdom...the HAMPTONS."

Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami and Kourtney and Kim Take New York are just a couple of the successful Keeping Up With the Kardashians spinoffs.

Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons will premiere this fall.
