Reality TV Star Jack Osbourne discovered he had multiple sclerosis when his vision was failing him, People Magazine reports.

"I couldn't see anything in front of me," the 26-year-old actor said, and that's when he realized something was wrong.

But when he went to the doctor he found the shocking news.

The 26-year-old son of Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis after losing 80% of his vision in his right eye, according to People magazine.

Currently he is taking medication and making a diet.

Osbourne and his fiance Lisa had a baby daughter in April.

The actor said the "timing" of his diagnosis was terrible.

"While I was waiting for the final results, I got really, really angry," he told Hello! magazine.

"The timing was so bad.. I'd just had a baby.. work was going great ...I kept thinking 'Why now?' Then I got really sad for about two days, and after that I realized, being angry and upset is not going to do anything at this point ... if anything it's only going to make it worse. 'Adapt and overcome' is my new motto."

Multiple sclerosis affects the brain and spinal cord. Early symptoms of MS include weakness,, numbness, and blurred vision. Other symptoms also include muscle stiffness, difficulty thinking, and urinary problems. A multiple sclerosis diagnosis is made by the history of symptoms and a neurological exam.
