Kabbalah, Veganism, and the bedroom. What could these three possibly have in common? Allegedly, they may have something to do with the 'conscious uncoupling' of Gwyneth Paltrow (as stated in her Goop letter) and Chris Martin.

Gwyneth Paltrow Chris Martin Split A Possible Publicity Stunt?

Growing up, Gwyneth Paltrow was raised with "both Jewish and Christian holidays," by her actress mother, Blythe Danner of the Meet The Fockers franchise, and Jewish writer/producer father Bruce Paltrow. Meanwhile, Chris Martin was reportedly "raised Episcopalian," however has described his religious views using his created term alltheism, since he "believes in everything."

Regardless of her upbringing and reports of following Kabbalistic traditions, the Daily Mail noted that Paltrow has previously claimed to not believe in religion, but later changed her tune to that of intentions of raising the couple's two children as Jewish.

Apparently, Martin has different plans for their children. On March 27, it was reported that he "struggled to deal with various aspects of [her] lifestyle," alluding to that being a main reason for their split. "He wanted the family to watch DVDs and TV - and also wanted them to eat treats every now and then," told the source.

The vegan 41-year-old Shallow Hal actress apparently isn't a big fan of treats for their little tykes Apple and Moses, though. Purportedly, their Coldplay singer dad found their Hollywood mom's "diet and rules both constricting and hard on the children."

Hollywood Life suggests that the "conscious uncoupling" could have been them experiencing issues in their bedroom. Paltrow previously spoke with talk show host Chelsea Handler, who said she advised her friend to "let go of the anger..." and, "just give [the friend's husband] a b*** j**!"

Was this a case of practice what you preach gone awry?
