It looks like the speculation on Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi splitting up is coming back with more insanity.

On Thursday, Celebrity Dirty Laundry posted the news from a tabloid who claims that a source revealed that the talk show host is not who she appears to be on camera.

"While she acts like she's the sweetest woman in Hollywood, Ellen is actually cruel and cranky to nearly everyone around her," a source supposedly told The National Enquirer. "Instead of hosting the Academy Awards, Ellen should win one. She fakes it for the camera and has managed to convince America that she's the nicest woman in showbiz."

This information could easily be false considering The National Enquirer has a reputation of spreading nasty rumors.

Not only did the story claim that DeGeneres was "mean," but the rumored source also called her a "monster."

The tabloids have had it in for the talk show host and her wife for a while now, which DeGeneres has laughed off.

When she guest starred on Kimmel last month, the talk show host addressed the rumors, saying that she and her wife are not splitting up.

"I read that we were getting divorced, and I went and told her [Portia] and she was sad, and I was like 'Oh my god!' We both were so sad!" DeGeneres joked. "I couldn't believe we were getting divorced, but I guess we are. They said it.

"We are very happy and that's the truth, and we are not getting divorced," she later added.
