NBC's long running crime drama Law & Order: Special Victims Unit just gets juicier and juicier by the episode. Most story concepts of the hit television series set in New York City are based on crimes that have actually occurred in real life, and the upcoming Episode 19 is no different.

Sophia Bush Dishes on Law & Order: SVU Plot, Erin Lindsay's Love Interest

According to a press release for the new episode, a troubled young mom gets a rude awakening and must deal with the reality of her own childhood, while seeking to protect her daughter.

Meghan Fahy guest stars as single mother Jenny Aschler, who winds up being arrested in the episode. Actress Ella Anderson plays the role of Aschler's daughter, Maddie, who is left "home alone for days," since her mother doesn't trust anyone else to take care of her.

Olivia Benson To Become A Mother?

On March 27, Hollywood Hills revealed that "Jenny's fierce motherly instincts and fear of men," will cause SVU's leading lady Sergeant Benson (Mariska Hargitay), "to suspect she may have been a victim of child abuse." Furthermore, they admitted that the impending episode "sounds pretty interesting as [Aschler] gets arrested for child endangerment, and more."
