Four more competitors said goodbye to The Voice on Monday as the Battle Rounds continued to take their toll.

With six rounds to an episode, the Battle Rounds pit singers from each team against each other. The series has expanded the Battles to two rounds for season 6, and Round 2 replaces the Knockout Rounds. Similarly to round 1, the second installment allows coaches to steal one losing singer from another team but requires them to cut their own team down by half.

Team Blake Shelton kicked off the evening's competition with a tough pairing. Audra McLaughlin and Megan Rüger went head-to-head with Miley Cyrus' The Climb and McLaughlin came out on top despite Rüger's technical prowess (see video below). Shelton then dumped Tess Boyer in lieu of Jake Worthington, but Team Shakira quickly gave Boyer a new home.

Team Adam Levine also had two sets of battles on Monday, and the Maroon 5 frontman decided to back Christina Grimmie and Delvin Choice for their renditions of OneRepublic's Counting Stars and Stevie Wonder's Sign, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours, respectively. To compensate, Levine had to say goodbye to Sam Behymer and Josh Kaufman, the latter of whom was later acquired by Team Usher.

Although they both snagged new artists during this round, Usher and Shakira only had to judge one battle each during episode 14. Shakira kept Patrick Thomson while dropping Josh Murley and Usher saved T.J. Wilkins while releasing Cierra Mickens.

The Voice airs Mondays at Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
