Alicia already seems to be seeking Finn Polmar out as he was the last person to be with Will, as he breathed his last, now it seems she will play a more integral role in Polmar's life.

Alicia and Diane to Merge Their Firms Because of Will's Death in Episode 17?

According to the recently revealed synopsis for the next episode, titled A Material World, Alicia will offer assistance to Polmar as he gets dragged into a mess over the bloody shooting in court. The State's Attorney will be looking for a "scapegoat in the Jeffrey Grant case," and Polmar seems to be a ripe target.

A Material World will air after two weeks so fans also have some time to get over the shock of Will's sudden death and recharge for the legal theatrics that will follow.

Here's the official synopsis for the upcoming episode:

"Alicia and Diane consider merging their firms in the wake of Will's death, even as they find themselves on opposite sides of a contentious divorce suit. Meanwhile, Alicia offers assistance to Finn when it becomes clear that the State's Attorney is looking for a scapegoat in the Jeffrey Grant case."
