It looks like the rumors of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's split are continuing to grow, including new information on an alleged open relationship.
On Wednesday, People reported that the couple have been dealing with issues for a good while, and that the marriage wasn't going anywhere.
"They were physically separated and emotionally," an insider reported.
Gwyneth Paltrow Dishes On Marriage Problems?
"They have been on and off for many years," another source added. "The marriage was falling apart. It caused both of them tremendous pain, and they tried to fix it day after day."
More details of their relationship were published in Hollywood Life, which mentioned that other people may have been sexually involved in their marriage.
"If Chris was playing around, Gwyneth didn't care," a source said. "She's never been jealous or territorial. Her philosophy is, 'we're both adults. We make our own choices.'"
This raises the question of whether or not this created any kind of damper on the marriage.
In a report from Radar Online, movie star Cameron Diaz, who is a friend of Paltrow's, mentioned that the former couple is doing everything they can to give themselves better lives at this point.
"They're being very honest about their relationship which is that they are really great friends, they're amazing parents and they're just consciously deciding that a part of their life is not going to be spent the way it's been for the last 11 years," Diaz said.
Paltrow and Martin got married in December 2003. They have two kids together- Apple who is nine and Moses who is seven.
