Panjabi will be starring in San Andreas with Dwayne Johnson aka the Rock. The New Line film is based on a deadly Californian earthquake measuring 10 on the richter. Brad Peyton will be directing the film and is being written by the duo of Carey and Chaf Hayes, who penned The Conjuring. Village Roadshow is producing the film with Flynn Picture Co.

Panjabi will be playing the part of a reporter in the film.

Alicia to Divorce Peter After Will's Death?    

Josh Charles gave his reason for leaving The Good Wife as wanting to challenge himself as an actor. With Panjabi signing on for major project, Enstars if she is also exploring new avenues and looking to move on from CBS' hit legal drama after five seasons?

The next episode of The Good Wife, titled A Material World, will air on April 6 on CBS.

Here's the official synopsis:

"Alicia and Diane consider merging their firms in the wake of Will's death, even as they find themselves on opposite sides of a contentious divorce suit. Meanwhile, Alicia offers assistance to Finn when it becomes clear that the State's Attorney is looking for a scapegoat in the Jeffrey Grant case."
