Friends of Cressida Bonas have broken their silence when it comes to a rumored engagement between the 25-year-old beauty and Prince Harry.

While it has been speculated that the two are gearing up to go their separate ways after Bonas was a no show at the royal's last string of events, her close friends tell a different story.

One said, "Harry and Cressida will be married. It is all going ahead. It is just a matter of time."

In fact, her family is reportedly getting ready for the big announcement.

A member of Bonas' extended family said, "There is a family gathering to discuss an engagement. The announcement will be sooner than people think."

Though Bonas missed Prince Harry's latest events, the two have been cozying up to each other more than usual lately. She was recently spotted supporting him at a rugby game in Twickenham. The day before, she accompanied the royal to a Wembley event in which he spoke in front of 12,000 students. Rumor also has it that Prince Harry will take his girlfriend of two years to Queen's Scottish retreat slated for this summer. If Bonas does attend, it is more likely than not that she will have a meeting with the Queen.

As for Prince Harry, those who have been following his journey with Bonas know he is all for tying the knot with the dance graduate. Fortunately for him, Bonas has gotten over her reluctancies when it comes to being a member of the royal family and is planning to marry him as well.

"Cressie is going to marry Harry. Harry never stops talking about marriage and children, and she's now got used to the idea. The wedding is likely to take place next year," a separate friend said.

Prince Harry and Bonas began dating after his cousin, Princess Eugenie, who is also Bonas' friend, introduced the two.
