Man of Steel 2 actress Gal Gadot is gearing up to play Wonder Woman in the highly anticipated blockbuster, and the actress recently revealed her regimen for training.

Gadot has a relatively slender frame, so the actress is bulking up to portray the muscular Wonder Woman ahead of Man of Steel 2 production. The Fast & Furious actress spoke with E! News this week about what she's doing to prepare for the role.

"I just keep active-everything that's challenging me, everything that I feel like doing," Gadot said. "It's not like I'm only TRX or Pilates. I do sports."

She said she prefers TRX "because everything's working your whole body. I do cardio, but I don't like it as much. I'd rather do weights."

Though she is eating healthy, she also makes room for some fatty foods now and then.

"I try to eat healthy," she said. "But sometimes though, I eat cheeseburgers. That's good for the soul. I make sure to balance everything out. I drink tons of water."

In addition to Gadot, Man of Steel 2 stars Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent, Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, butler to Bruce Wayne.

The film will be directed by Zack Snyder, who also directed 2013's Man of Steel.

Man of Steel 2 is scheduled for release in theaters on May 6, 2016.
