After realizing Silas (Michael Easton) was innocent in Nina's disappearance and murder, Nathan West (Ryan Paevy) set a trap for new suspect Ava (Maura West), but he will be shocked when the real culprit is revealed on General Hospital.

Plan To Catch Ava Goes Awry?

In a bid to try and set Ava up for the crime by telling her that Nakamura was alive, Nathan and Sam (Kelly Monaco) waited for her to walk through the hotel room door. However, to Nathan's surprise, the woman who walked through the door wasn't Ava -- it was his and Nina's mother, Madeline (Donna Mills).

"Detective, isn't it time to arrest this b----?" Sam asks him in a preview clip for the Monday, April 7 episode.

Nathan Uses Julian To Trap Ava?

Being forced with a dilemma of having to stand up to his ethics as a detective and putting his own mother behind bars will affect Nathan greatly, and after he likely tries to defend Madeline, he will be forced to tell Sam the truth about their relationship.

Meanwhile, Silas is learning from Ava herself that she had nothing to do with hurting his wife back when they had their affair.

"I never touched Nina," she says.

Another trap in Port Charles is the one Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) has set to convince Britt (Kelly Theibaud) to leave town and take Baby Ben with her. However, her plan to hold Liz (Rebecca Herbst) hostage in the meantime is starting to hit a few snags -- one of which happens to be her daughter's ex-fiance, Nikolas (Tyler Christopher).

"You have a hostage. Take me instead," Nikolas says to Obrecht in the clip as she points a gun at Liz's head.

At the police station, Britt will surprise Ben's real parents, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu (Emmee Rylan) when she reveals that she knows where Baby Ben is being hidden.

"I know where Ben is. I can take you to your son," she says.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 2 p.m. on ABC.
