It looks like Star Wars: Episode VII has already started filming, and some actors may have already been cast for big roles.

Unknown Actors Cast In Latest Flick?

On Saturday, The Hollywood Reporter posted a story on an interview with Disney Chief Alan Horn who mentioned that the new film directed by J.J. Abrams has already started shooting as well as a little detail on casting.

"We have a lot of them [in place], Horn said about the main actors. "We're just not completely done yet."

Episode VII To Return To Tatooine?

The chairman did not reveal any names on who's in the film. He also mentioned that one of the main issues the film has been getting the script right.

"It's all about the screenplay," Horn said. "It has to be screenplay, screenplay, screenplay." He was then asked if the script is finally where it needs to be, and he responded, "It actually is now."

The Disney Chief then revealed that the film will be a continuous sequel that will pick up "where 6 left off-- and where 6 left off is 35 years ago by the time this is released."

While there is no word on who's been cast for a role, a number of actors have been rumored for parts, including Zac Efron, Adam Driver and Lupita Nyong'o. Metro reported that Dominic Monaghan, who worked with Abrams on Lost, said that the director plans to cast unknown actors for the seventh feature film.

Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
