Showtime recently announced that Homeland would be moving its shooting location to South Africa, but how much of the show's cast is making the move?

Jessica Brody Officially Gone From Homeland?

Both Claire Danes (who plays Carrie) and Mandy Patinkin (Saul) have been all but confirmed to be starring in season 4, but the show still has a big ensemble cast that could carry over as the show transitions to a new country.

Showrunner Alex Gansa previously revealed that one of the bigger ideas they've been discussing for season 4 is Carrie leading a team of familiar faces in a foreign country.

Fara To Have "Key Role" On Carrie's Team In Homeland Season 4?

"As she mentioned to Sen. Lockhart [Tracy Letts], she gets to choose her own people. So Quinn [Rupert Friend], Fara [Nazanin Boniadi] . . . Virgil [David Marciano] and possibly Max [Maury Sterling] may come along with her," Gansa told TVLine. "We get to bring some of our familiar faces overseas."

The Brody family will essentially be left behind as Homeland transfers to its new location. While the season will be filmed in South Africa, it is said to take place in the Middle East.

Homeland season 4 is expected to premiere in fall 2014 on Showtime, though the network has not yet announced a specific air date.
