On the next episode of Bones, Booth (David Boreanaz) will be up for a big promotion, potentially causing waves in his relationship with his family.

Brennan & Booth Ready For Baby No. 2 To Join Christine on Bones?

Next Monday's episode of Bones is titled The Cold in the Case, and according to Fox's plot synopsis, it could be a big one for Booth. The synopsis states that Booth could potentially take a "huge promotion," which could potentially "uproot his entire family." It is unclear of how this will affect his relationship with Brennan (Emily Deschanel), but she will likely have an opinion on it.

The case of the week features the Jeffersonian team investigating the death of a woman found in a swamp. The team soon discovers that her body was "cryogenically frozen before it was disposed," which then leads them to a preservation facility and they discover more details about the woman's personal life.

Elsewhere, Cam (Tamara Taylor) is nervous about meeting Arastoo's (Pej Vahdat) father and mother, the latter of which will be played by Shohreh Aghdashloo.

Bones season 9 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
