A familiar face has finally returned to Port Charles after an extended vacation -- but she won't be alone on General Hospital.

Maxie and Spinelli Admit Their Feelings For One Another As He Leaves Town?

After leaving town following the baby drama with Lulu (Emmee Rylan), Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), Maxie (Kirsten Storms) has returned to Port Charles. And while Nathan (Ryan Paevy), who was attracted to her when he began subletting her apartment, may initially be happy to see her, he will be in for a shock when a mystery guy walks out of her bathroom wearing nothing but a towel.

"Who's this?" he asks in a preview clip for the Wednesday, April 9 episode.

Nathan Learns The Truth About Nina's Death

Nathan's days have been stressful, as he recently learned that his mother, Madeline (Donna Mills) was actually responsible for his sister Nina's death. He threw her in jail and returned home to find Maxie there.

Maxie's return to town also comes at the same time that Dante and Lulu are finally able to become parents to their biological child, who was rescued from Obrecht's (Kathleen Gati) captivity when Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) wore a wire and got her arrested.

However, during that struggle, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) was shot, something that has worried Nikolas (Tyler Christopher), who is confused about his feelings for her at the moment.

"Will you just tell me if Elizabeth is going to survive?" he yells at ex-fiancée Britt in the preview clip.

Meanwhile, in the Port Charles jail, Obrecht and Madeline are sitting in opposite jail cells while they await the punishment for their respective crimes. However, the two women also appear to know one another.

"Been a long time, hasn't it?" Madeline says to Obrecht.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 2 p.m. on ABC.
