The CBS drama will return this Sunday with "Silver Wings of Time," and everyone's favorite faux psychic will have to go head-to-head with John De Lancie (Edward Feinberg) of Star Trek: The Next Generation. With one man on death row and another dead from a very public bombing, Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) must figure out who really killed Feinberg's wife.

Penned by Tom Szentgyorgyi ("My Blue Heaven," "Black-Winged Redbird") and Rebecca Cutter ("Red Listed," "Red Velvet Cupcakes"), the episode will give Agent Abbott (Rockmund Dunbar) and his team a mere two days to prove the innocence of Luis Cruz (Oscar Torre), a death row inmate. Their investigation will be complicated when Feinberg chooses this moment to bomb an Austin bus station in an effort to kill another man potentially related to Cruz's case.

"[Guest star] John De Lancie plays a man whose wife's killer is about to be executed, and he and Jane square off over that," Szentgyorgyi told TV Line. "John gives a spectacular performance, and was a great sparring partner for [Simon] Baker."
