Life may be turning back around for Nicole (Arianne Zucker) on Days of Our Lives, as the man she loves may reconsider his past position about marrying her.

Eric Stuns Nicole With Break-Up News

Due to cold feet about being unsure if he genuinely wanted to get married and leave his days as a priest behind for good, Eric (Greg Vaughan) told Nicole he didn't think he could go through with it and left her behind. Nicole was heartbroken and even lashed out at his mother, Marlena (Deidre Hall). However, Eric will now have a change of heart and ask Nicole to be his fiancée once more.

Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) could also be on the road to mending their strained relationship as well. Though never romantically involved, the cop and lawyer were getting closer to a good working relationship and friendship before Hope talked about him with Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). Ever since, the two have been strained. However, when Hope rescues Aiden's son, Chase (Connor Kalopsis) from a scary situation and returns him to Aiden safe and sound, he will become extremely grateful.

Daniel Gets Drugged

However, not everyone is destined to have great things happen to them in Salem. Liam's (Mark Collier) plans to rip Daniel (Shawn Christian) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) apart will take a new twist now that Daniel has had some orange juice that Liam mixed crushed opiates into. When the drugs begin to take effect, it is at the worst possible time -- while he is at the hospital, doing a surgery. His strange behavior will result in a drug test that could cost him his job, and in Liam's mind, Jennifer as well.

J.J. (Casey Moss) could also find his new relationship with Paige (True O'Brien) fizzle out a bit as well when Bev (Allison Paige) becomes unhappy that he has finally convinced Paige to go out with him.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
