Make way for the Royals! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are currently on a three-week tour of New Zealand and Australia, and Kate Middleton's evening gown recently stole the show.

Apparently her dress definitely impressed, as all the buzz is about 32-year-old Middleton's State Reception attire. Making more than a fashion statement in New Zealand Thursday, the Duchess looked smashing in a black custom-made Jenny Packham dress. "All eyes were on the dazzling Duchess," dished the Daily Mail April 10. In honor of the country's floral emblem, her glittery dress was adorned with silver ferns, which is a symbol representative of the nation. Reportedly, baby George's mum has taken notes from the Queen, who is known to incorporate an item of national importance into her outfits when on foreign tours.

According to reports, the young nobles were in town "attending a lavish State reception thrown by Governor General Sir Jerry Mateparae, the Queen's representative in New Zealand, at his official residence, Government House." The reception is said to have been one of their more glamorous engagements during their tour.

Upon arriving back in Wellington, Prince Williams purportedly took a moment to freshen up before meeting in the Liverpool Room with New Zealand politician, David Cunliffe, and the 38th Prime Minister, John Key. After spending about 20 minutes in each of his meetings, the Duke joined his lady in the State Apartments as they prepared for their evening ceremony. In addition to a night of sipping local wine, consuming fine spreads, and mingling with company, the Prince was "presented with a set of the commemorative stamps being issued to mark the tour by the New Zealand Post."
