New details have been revealed about the 18th episode of Glee's fifth season, an episode that is titled The Back-Up Plan. The details, revealed by a Tumblr account via SpoilerTV, include a new story line in which Rachel gets an offer from a big Hollywood executive that might be too significant to refuse.

In The Back-Up Plan, Rachel has led Funny Girl to be a big hit on Broadway, and her "star" is on the rise. She signs with a New York talent agent who has different ideas for where her career should go. A Hollywood producer soon steps in and offers Rachel a "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity" that would force her to take a big risk.

Kurt & Blaine Go Through 'Difficult' Times After Move To New York?

Meanwhile, at NYADA, Kurt (Chris Colfer) performs for a socialite who has a good reputation for making stars. Kurt is convinced that he must do everything with Blaine (Darren Criss) and asks him to perform with him. Things get particularly awkward after the socialite becomes more enamored with Blaine than Kurt.

Elsewhere, Mercedes (Amber Riley) is having difficulty with completing her latest single in time for her assigned release date. This leads her to asking for help from Santana (Naya Rivera) in order to find a new sound for herself.
