The 16th annual Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant is taking place tonight on FX. The pageant, which is being shown on FX and at your local Hooters location, features 101 Hooter Girls to compete for the title.

The 101 contestants were chosen from 18,000 Hooter girls worldwide. The winner of tonight's show will take home a crown and a $50,000 prize and will be featured in the annual Hooters swimsuit calendar, magazine and commercial. Last year's winner Lindsey Way will crown this year's winner.

The show is being broadcast live from the Fillmore Miami Beach. It can also be seen streamed live on Facebook .

There are over 460 Hooters restaurants across the U.S. It also has branches in 24 other countries.

The appearances of the waitresses is the main feature of the restaurant. A "Hooters Girl" is a waitress employed by the restaurant chain. They wear a white tank top with "Hootie the Owl" and short orange running shorts.

The Miss Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant has been held since 1996, a competition of Hooters Girls from around the world.
