Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter has revealed a few more details regarding the upcoming final season of the FX motorcycle drama.

It had previously been announced that shock rocker Marilyn Manson would be lending his musical talent to Sons of Anarchy in season 7, but Sutter has revealed an intriguing new detail about who he'll be playing.

"listening to one of @marilynmanson new songs. potent. creepy. cool," Sutter tweeted this week. "look for him in season 7. he'll be the guy riding the dragon."

Nero, Barosky, Patterson Returning for Final Season?

The phrase "riding the dragon" is a term used for heroin use, in reference to the "high" of the drug. Sutter seems to be suggesting that Manson will be playing a heroin user and/or dealer in the final season.

Sutter previously tweeted a series of cryptic phrases about the final season under the heading "Spoilers," tweeting:

"1 word: DRAGON. jax slays it. MC dances around dead carcass.

tig f---s it. catches thunder clap. burning pee. bad rash." While it seems that Sutter was joking, it is always possible that it is an extended metaphor for something that goes down in the final season.

He also tweeted that he is having trouble closing out the final two chapters in the Sons of Anarchy mythology, claiming that he has been stuck on it for three months.

Sons of Anarchy season 7 premieres in fall 2014 on FX, though the network has yet to announce an official air date.
