It looks like King Henry is about to lose any sanity he has left when The CW's Reign returns.

Mary Will Change In A Way That Was 'Never Seen Before?'

In the promo for the next episode, Mary is encouraged to come to Scotland when she's seen having a dispute with her husband, Francis. Apparently, he wants her to risk Scotland's health in order to save France from embarrassment.

"My father is mad," Francis tells his wife, seemingly bringing up where King Henry's madness will take him. He's seen in the next clip mumbling with tears in his eyes.

As a montage of scenes go by, the king screams at the top of his lungs while looking helpless and deranged.

Mary's Wedding Day Chatter

Francis manages to keep himself together while saying one of the worst things that can happen. "This country can come apart."

"This is what I feared most," Francis says in another clip. "That someday the needs of our countries would tear us apart."

Francis and Mary appear to be headed for another feud after Francis tells his wife that he loves her. However, Mary doesn't seem to agree.

"You love a girl," she tells Francis. "You don't love a queen or you would allow me to be one!"

Alan Van Sprang (King Henry) recently spoke to TV Line about his character's intentions moving forward.

"He's not letting anyone stand in his way. He originally established 'Team Frary. He wanted the two of them together, but if that's not working out, he's going to try to establish another way to get to England and Scotland."

Reign airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
