April 13 marked "The Beginning" of "The End of an Era" for AMC's hit television drama series. Sunday, Mad Men premiered the first episode of its seventh and final season which, much to viewers' surprise, featured Scream star Neve Campbell.  "Mad Men kicked off Season 7 (Sundays at 10 p.m. on AMC) with some surprising guest stars, but there was one leading lady we couldn't wait to talk to about her cameo on the show," said Yahoo! TV, Monday.

During her interview, the 40-year-old actress revealed that show creator Matthew Weiner is extremely involved with every facet of the show, including everywhere from the audition room to hair, makeup, and wardrobe. "But I think that's also the reason he's made something so brilliant and such a wonderful show. He really cares a lot and is very diligent about making sure that everything is the way it should be," told Campbell.

Moreover, while the guest star thanked God that she didn't actually have to give away her child for the show, she revealed that at her first day on set, she did have to sign a waiver and hear their "Super Secrecy Speech," but is supportive of Weiner's confidentiality tactics. "I think it's great that he's that diligent about keeping things secret because then the audience gets to just go along for the ride and enjoy it, as opposed to hearing about everything that happens before it happens and not being surprised in any way."
