Though Discovery has picked up a fourth season of its hit reality show Amish Mafia, one of the series' stars has hinted that she may not be returning when the show begins filming new episodes.

Esther and John Schmucker Address Season 4 In Fan Meet and Greet?

On her official Facebook page, star Esther Schmucker revealed she has yet to sign on to continue filming after a fan inquired whether the show would return for the fourth season after filming for season 3 was halted back in February.

"Lol I guess they are just hoping we will do it. I haven't signed anything yet," Schmucker responded to the April 13 post.

The cast refused to continue filming in the season 3 finale episode that aired April 8. After Amish Aid enforcer Lebanon Levi became increasingly frustrated with the English when he realized he was being investigated by authorities, he and the rest of the Lancaster-based Amish cast refused to finish filming, with things getting violent when the crew tried to get the confrontation on tape.

"Do you want to leave in one piece? You'll go now," Caleb said in the episode after he, Levi and the rest of the cast lured the crew to an abandoned barn. "Our biggest mistake was letting English people in our lives. Get the -f-k out of here."

Schmucker also threatened violence in the episode, brandishing a baseball bat and saying she would smash the cameras if they continued filming.

Schmucker has also been in the news recently for reportedly reuniting with her abusive ex-boyfriend, Imir R. Williams. The actress, who suffered from a broken nose, broken cheekbone and several broken teeth after a Halloween 2013 attack, was recently present in a Lancaster courtroom when Williams was sentenced to prison time for violating the terms of his parole and contacting Schmucker since the attack.

Schmucker was reportedly scolded by the judge as well for allowing Williams into her home earlier this year, and told she would be thrown in jail as well if there was reason for it.

"Courtroom Eight is not a set for the Discovery Channel. I am not interested in your ratings. You two have been nothing but a nuisance to law enforcement," Judge Dennis Reinaker said. "I'm telling you, Ms. Schmucker, if I could put you and Mr. Williams in Lancaster Country Prison, I'd do it. You were the one who criticized the DA (Craig Stedman)."

Though the cast has refused to continue filming, Discovery did announce a fourth season of the show as part of its lineup for the Fall.
