The Voice said goodbye to four more competitors on the second night of the Playoffs.

Twenty players entered the Playoffs but only 12 will remain standing when the three-night affair comes to an end. The grueling round requires each coach to judge the entirety of their team and eliminate two of their five hopefuls. Team Blake Shelton was the first group on the chopping block last Tuesday, and the country star booted Ryan Whyte Maloney and Madilyn Paige. On Monday it was time for Shakira and Adam Levine to make some tough calls.

Kristen Merlin of Team Shakira was the first performer to take the stage. Merlin belted out an acceptable rendition of Carrie Underwood's Two Black Cadillacs while Tess Boyer and Dani Moz's performances also received a seal of approval from the Colombian pop star. Deja Hall and Patrick Thomson, however, didn't make the cut.

Team Adam performed during the show's second hour, and the Maroon 5 frontman chose to advance Delvin Choice, Kat Perkins, and Christina Grimmie. Unfortunately for Jake Barker, performing one of his mentor's hits didn't help him stay in the competition and he joined Morgan Wallen in exiting the series.

Check out the Hall, Thomson, Barker, and Wallen's final efforts below.

The Voice will return to NBC on Tuesday with the last Playoff round at 8 p.m. ET.
