Dancing with the Stars switched up the routine on Monday night and tested competitors' adaptability by throwing them together with a new partner.

'The Voice' Season 6 Playoffs: Who Was Eliminated From Team Shakira & Team Adam Levine?

Thanks to the season 17 decision to forgo results episodes, competitors are now eliminated based on their previous week's performance. Scores and voting from last week's "Switch Up" and the March 31 "Most Memorable Year" left singer Cody Simpson and Witney Carson in last place and the pair eliminated after their I Just Can't Wait to Be King samba.

The week 5 theme was "Disney Night" and Big Time Rush's James Maslow scored big with Frozen's hit song, Let It Go (see video below). Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd's contemporary routine pulled in a 40 from this week's judges (Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Donny Osmond), making them the first to a perfect score this season.

If Maslow embodied the best of the evening, Drew Carey and Cheryl Burke unfortunately represented the worst. Set to Aladdin's Find Like Me, the pair's quickstep received sevens across the board and their 28 came in well below Simpson and Carson's 34.

The rest of the stars landed scores that rested nicely in the 30s. Danica McKellar and Val Chmerkovskiy proved to be Maslow's stiffest competition when they pulled in a 39 for their Beauty and the Beast inspired quickstep routine.

Dancing with the Stars will return to ABC next Monday at 8 p.m. ET.
