A fan favorite character on Glee will be returning for the upcoming fifth season finale.

Rachel Leaving Broadway Behind & Embracing Hollywood In New Career on Glee?

Heather Morris, who plays the lovably ditzy Brittany on the musical series, is set to return for the season finale in May, according to a new report by E! News. It is not clear why Brittany is returning, but she will likely be with Santana (Naya Rivera). The pair was last seen in Glee's 100th episode traveling to Hawaii in celebration of their love for each other.

However, there are still a few more episodes left to go in Glee's shortened fifth season before fans gets to see Brittany again. Tuesday night's episode of Glee is titled Tested, an episode that will likely be more comedic in nature, based on Fox's plot synopsis.

Naya Rivera's Future As Santana In Question For Final Season?

In Tested, the male characters get tested for STDs, where it is discovered that newly confident Artie (Kevin McHale) tests positive for a disease. He is then forced to break the news to his sexual partners.

Blaine (Darren Criss) realizes that he has put on the "freshman fifteen" ever since moving to New York, which creates some tension between him and Kurt (Chris Colfer).

As for the songs set to be sung in Tuesday night's episode, it looks to be '80s themed. Robert Palmer's Addicted to Love will be sung by Artie, while Mercedes (Amber Riley) is set to sing two songs, I Want to Know What Love Is by Foreigner and Let's Wait Awhile by Janet Jackson.

Meanwhile, Kurt and Blaine will sing Pat Benatar's Love Is a Battlefield.

Glee season 5 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on Fox.
