Though rumors last month had Disney considering replacing Harrison Ford in the rumored Indiana Jones 5 movie, the actor has since reiterated how much he enjoyed the role and may not want to give it up.

'Too Late' For 'Indiana Jones 5' Movie To Be Made?

In a Reddit AMA on April 14, Ford answered questions from fans which ranged from asking him about his roles in other famous films including Blade Runner and Star Wars, as well as his iconic role in the Indiana Jones franchise. While answering questions about playing Indy, the actor hinted how much he genuinely loved the role and didn't want to be replaced by a younger actor.

"I think Indiana Jones was a lot of fun to do because of the places we went to and the adventures and the action," he said.

Bradley Cooper Denies Involvement In 'Indiana Jones 5' Movie?

Ford, who said that he felt incredibly lucky to have portrayed both Indiana Jones and Han Solo, also talked about what motivates him to choose the films he does.

"You know, it's very hard to say what the motivation is these days. Most of the time I love the material, have the time free, and look for something different to do," he said. "I look for people I enjoy working with, I look for material that I think will make a film that people will go to. It's my job."

If Ford finds the idea of donning the famous fedora and whip once again, he may be reluctant to give up the iconic role to a new actor. Rumors had it that because Disney has put the potential film on the back burner in order to focus on the J.J. Abrams helmed Star Wars: Episode VII, the studio was considering rebooting the franchise with actor Bradley Cooper because Ford would be in his 80s and too old to reprise the role in a new film.
