House of Cards actress Kate Mara found her character murdered on this past season of the hit Netflix show. However, is her character Zoe Barnes returning as a ghost for Season 3?

House of Cards To Remove Set From Maryland?

Recently, the 31-year-old actress joined the cast of the new Fantastic Four series, and is slated to play the Invisible Woman, Sue Storm. The actress was also "invisible" on House of Cards, after Kevin Spacey's menacing character, Frank Underwood, pushed her in front of an oncoming train in the season 2 premiere.

Nevertheless, there is some talk that the starlet could possibly make a return on the political drama, in evanescent form as a disembodied spirit. Friday, E! News asked the actress if she would be returning as a ghost next season to which she replied, "I've been sort of like lobbying to bring me back as a different character - give me some prosthetics, like I would do that. I would come back as a ghost too, but I don't really think that's going to happen."

Moreover, while a Mara ghost in the White House remains to be seen, "Rooney Mara" may ring some bells. The Transcendence actress is a descendent of the NFL Giants-Mara and Pittsburgh Steelers-Rooney families. Plus, her younger actress sister also uses the moniker as her alias.
