On the upcoming final season of True Blood, Willa (Amelia Rose Blaire) may be learning what it takes to be a vampire with guidance from Tara (Rutina Wesley).

Blaire, who recently became a series regular on the HBO show ahead of the final season, spoke with Entertainment Weekly about what fans can anticipate.

"Tara is really her main touchstone. she's her best friend, her teacher," Blaire explained. "I really think [Willa's] going to come into what it means to be a vampire and start to understand her powers and how she fits in among the people in the town. I'm excited to see where she goes."

The actress also expressed her willingness to have her character die on the show, suggesting that she doesn't care either way what happens to Willa.

In other True Blood spoiler news, a new report by TVLine is stating that there will be a new "Big Bad" in the final season, going by the name of Mr. Gus. He is a Japanese businessman who has consumed himself with American culture so much that he now wears a 10-gallon hat and speaks with a presumably Southern drawl.

The middle-aged businessman also has a "thirst for vengeance," which is described as "infinite," according to the report, which also suggests that the character might be immortal.

True Blood season 7 premieres Sunday, June 22 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
