This past holiday season may have been grim for the Tori Spelling-Dean McDermott household, as just moments prior to the merriment of Christmas, the Beverly Hills, 90210 actress learned of her husband's infidelity. Now, Spelling has decided to open up about his public affair, which comes just in the nick of time to promote her new Lifetime docu-series, True Tori. Could this be another Hollywood publicity stunt?

Tori Spelling Too Broke To Divorce Husband Despite Multiple Cheating Claims?

The couple met on the set of their Lifetime TV movie, Mind Over Murder, back in the summer of 2005. Though they were both in separate marriages at the time, they reportedly began having an affair with each other on the very same night that they'd met. Subsequently, the pair became Mr. and Mrs. McDermott in May 2006, and they now share four children together.

Despite previous scandals, they seemed to enjoy a happy home, until one cold day in December 2013. "Busted! Tori Spelling's husband Dean McDermott is definitely on this naughty list this Christmas after a woman reportedly has come forward to claim that she met him just a few weeks ago, and had sex with him that very night, and he even made the shocking claim that his own wife won't sleep with him," reported Radar Online December 24.

At the time, Spelling seemed in denial about the topic, and trusting of her husband. However, recently she revealed to Us Weekly that she actually confronted "her love rat husband" the next week, and noticed he was nervous. "He said that they had kissed but that was it. I knew in that moment the worst had happened," told Spelling, 40.

Earlier this year, the 47-year-old actor announced that he deeply regretted his mistakes, and checked himself into rehab. While he is now living in their L.A. home again, Spelling stated that her marriage remains in shambles and revealed, "I don't know if my marriage can be saved... He was my soulmate, but he completely broke my heart. It makes you not trust anything that's happened in your relationship."

Nonetheless, they're allowing the turmoil of their marriage to be on display in the upcoming reality show, True Tori, which premieres April 22 at 10 p.m. on Lifetime. Smell a rat? Comment below, and check out the clip, here:
