Todd Chrisley Talks FIrst Season of 'Chrisley Knows Best'

Enstars reported recently that Chrisley filed for bankruptcy in August 2012. Since then, the trustee handling his case, Jason Pettie, has claimed that Chrisley and his wife, Julie, worked together to hide assets from the bankruptcy court.

Todd told People magazine, "Mo' money, mo' problems. It's just a regurgitation of what happened in 2012. We're very blessed. It's 2014. We've moved on."

Court to Ask for 'Chrisley Knows Best' Season 2 Contract?

While they might be over the bankruptcy fraud allegations, his bankruptcy case is still pending. Two banks that claim Todd owes them a total of nearly a million dollars, are set to meet in court Thursday in hopes of being able to start collecting debt from him now instead of waiting until the bankruptcy process is over.

Todd also revealed that the family does not use a budget.

"I don't know that budget is something that was used in our family, and I think think it's used today in our family." Still, they say they are more responsible and disciplined when it comes to money.

The couple joked with People that Todd has always told Julie if things got desperate, she could go work for TMZ. She admitted that she loves her fair share of celebrity gossip.

"I just love it. I love to keep up."

The reality TV parents also opened up about their overnight fame and how they are portrayed on Chrisley Knows Best.

The wealthy parents and their five children quickly rose to fame when Chrisley Knows Best premiered on USA. It was announced earlier this week that the popular show would be returning to the small screen for a second season. Julie and Chrisley spoke with People magazine in article published Wednesday and revealed what viewers will see from them the second time around.

"We certainly will not be texting and driving," Todd said referring to one of the several things he had to reprimand his children about this season. "My children have now been called out on using profanity. So those are two things that we certainly will be working on."
